BIO
I received a BFA in Fine Art with a minor in Art History at Pennsylvania College of Art and Design.I am interning at The Center for Emerging Visual Artist and had the opportunity to show my work at Blick Art Materials with their help. I worked as a curatorial board member for Philadelphia Sculptors 5 Into 1 exhibition. I’m currently in an active role in Second State Press as an instructor for the Introduction to Woodcut Course, as well as joining the FOB Holder program. Within this capacity I learn new printmaking skills, manage the shop, and make strong connections with other working artists in the community. I worked as a curatorial board member for CORE Gallery, the student-managed exhibition space. I took an active role in shaping and implementing cultural programming for the student body and college campus. Within this capacity, I also served as the Treasurer. Recently, my work is installation-based and involves furniture elements and vintage patterns as well as printmaking. Working with materials of all kinds, textiles are important to my oeuvre. I often use fabric and thread to intertwine my family traditions to pay homage to those who helped shape my practice and express my own personal artistic journey.
